"Grapes left on the vine till late in the season for optimum ripeness/sweetness. Fermentation arrested by neutral spirit. Selected parcels added to the Grand Rutherglen Topaque solera system. Base wine dates back to 1950s. Burnished walnut colour. A laid-back approach, mellow even, with luscious sweetness tempered by cold-tea notes in tandem with raisined fruit, chocolate panforte and toasted nuts.
